Barcode Scanner Systems

Geneva Cost Methodology Versus OthersBarcode Scanner systems can scan labels at distances ranging from a few inches to many feet. They are particularly valuable as automatic input devices for tracking high value items, but may also be used for other such uses as person check-in for events and entry/exit systems.

Our latest bar code application utilized Symbol P460 handheld scanners and our own custom barcode generation library which produces all standard bar codes (UPC/EAN, Bookland EAN, Code 39, Code 39 Full ASCII, Trioptic Code 39, Code 93, Codabar, Interleaved 2 of 5, Code 128, EAN 128, etc...). The application can print labels with a user barcode for check-in to a given event, or could print credit card size identification cards. The Symbol P460 scanner is setup in continuous scan mode in the special dock, and users simply scan their card or label to check-in. The entry is logged in the main application for reporting and tracking. The Symbol P460 can also be used in point-and-shoot batch mode,Geneva Cost Methodology Versus Others and will automatically sync back with our custom application when reconnected to the computer, updating all the needed records and information.

We can help build new bar coding systems and upgrade your existing systems to help with any need you may have.
